About Sue

I always like to see the human face of a business, so here’s a bit about me. Having chosen to spend the last 25 years working in Human Resources, I guess you could say that I’m passionate about all things HR.

I’m a Chartered Member of the CIPD which means I comply with the minimum standards of this professional body and keep myself up-to-date on all employment legislation and industry news. In my career, I’ve worked in operational and strategic HR functions for large organisations. I’ve also had the benefit of working in both public and private sectors, across a variety of different sectors, including retail, education, tourism and financial services. I currently serve as a board trustee at Citizens Advice South Lincolnshire.

In 2010, I decided to draw on my HR expertise and set up West HR and I haven’t looked back since. In the past ten or so years, I’ve worked with a range of exciting small businesses and start-ups, offering them HR advice and training. It’s been a real pleasure to watch these businesses grow and thrive.
